Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

If I in fact needed a hollywood hero to deal with a rude person or something of the sort I would pick Indiana Jones. This is because he kicked some butt in the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, sometimes without weapons and at an older then regular hero age. The movie was under direction by the very famous Stephen Spielberg and was an action, adventure, sci fi movie. It stars, Harrison Ford (Indiana Jones), Shia LaBeouf (Mutt Williams), Ray Winestone ('Max' George McHale) and others. The movie is about the archaeologist and adventurer Dr. Henry "Indiana" Jones on an adventure to prevent Soviet forces from uncovering the enigma behind the ancient artifacts known as the crystal skulls. This movie was similar to Pirates of the Carribean and National Treasure to some degree. There was definately some cool scenes in the movie that looked like it would be a good theme park ride or 3D movie. But I would also say the overall story did not blow me away and I thought that it was a little to far from realty for me after dealing with realty type stuff all day before going out and seeing the flick. But anyways I think you will probably like it if you have your imagination ready, want to be dazzled with adventure and liked the past Indiana Jones movies or movies like Pirates of the Carribean. So the movie was not to bad and I also hope they make another one some time later on.

Iron Man

This movie was directed by Jon Favreau and is an action, drama, sci fi, adventure and thriller movie. The movie stars Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark/Ironman) Jeff Bridges (Obadiah Stane/Iron Monger), Terrence Howard (Jim Rhodes), Gweneth Paltrow (Virginia 'Pepper' Potts) and others. The movie is about Tony Stark the big shot of Stark Weapons who goes through a near death incident as a hostage, which offers him a different idea on using his technology to fight the bad guys as Iron Man. I thought that the movie played out well, how the conflict comes together among the characters. I could guess a couple of small things before they happened but I think that is just what happens when you watch a lot of movies like myself. I think this movie was about as good as any other popular superhero movie. I also would say it seemed mostly similar to the last Batman movie with Christian Bale where you have the superhero, with the money, mansion, popularity and so forth. Although I think Batman was a bit cooler and less sketchy since he did not become a billionaire from making weapons like Tony Stark. The movie widened my knowledge of the kind because I am pretty sure this was the first Iron Man movie in theaters. So finally overall I will just say the movie for me was packed with an unhealthy amount of candy, popcorn, soda but a healthy enough supply of iron.
