Up was directed by Pete Docter and Bob Peterson is the co-director. Up is an animation, action, adventure, comedy, family movie, starring the voices of Edward Asner (Carl Fredricksen), Christopher Plummer (Charles Muntz), Jordan Nagai (Russell) and others. The story of Up is all about Carl Fredricksen a 78 year old man setting off in his house, which is concocted for flight with balloons to fly down to Paradise Falls in South America. Paradise Falls and South America is a place where Carl Fredricksen had a lifelong dream of going to and on the way he becomes accompanied by some unexpected guests which creates all sorts of new adventures. Well I don't think there was much to complain about this Pixar movie but I think there are some interesting things to point out about it. I had heard from some that they cried through the movie but I think that might have been more of a touching thing then sadness because overall I don't think it was the saddest animation movie made. I also think there was a lot of story for a Pixar movie, meaning it seemed there was a lot of stuff going on between every character in which Fredricksen encountered. But anyhow I thought the movie was really good on the whole and surely worth seeing and mostly for me because how often do you get to see a house cleverly floating around on balloons somewhere. Actually come to think of it similarly I remember hearing someone daringly flying on a lawn chair with balloons as some kind of a world record but that is a whole other story here. So I would surely recommend this movie if you are in the mood for one of those animation Pixar films and a whole lot of animation adventure.
