Little Man

Little Man was a movie that was created by the Wayan brothers and stars the brothers as well as other funny actors and actresses such as Rob Schneider and Tracy Morgan. The plot is somewhat complex for a comedy movie, which seems to make the movie funnier. In the movie Calvin also known as Little Man dresses up as a baby to get back a stolen diamond he handed off to a couple while he was running from the cops. The couple Darryl and Vanessa are thinking about having a child and this becomes a realty when Calvin (Little Man) shows up at their door sitting in a dog basket awaiting someone to take care of him so he can then steal back the diamond. Mr. W wants the diamond as well and becomes threatening to Calvin and his partner Percy because it takes them a while to find where the diamond is. I thought the movie was hilarious because it is funny to think of a situation where a grown man could be mistaken and pretends to be a baby, which I think is generally a rare occurrence if even an occurrence at all in real life. I think Marlon Wayan did a really good job of acting the role of the Little Man, which I think could be hard to naturally play the role of. I would recommend this movie because it's funny and it has a comedic plot that is fun to follow.

Night at the Museum

Night at the Museum was directed by Shawn Levy and stars Robin Williams (President Roosevelt, Ben Stiller (Larry Daley), Carla Gugino (Rebecca), Dick Van Dyke (Cecil) and others. In the movie Larry Daley is looking for a job and is directed by a job agent to try the Museum of Natural History in New York, but he does not really know what he is in for in doing so. As you come to find the museum is commanded by an ancient curse which brings to life characters like President Roosevelt, a giant dinosaur, Columbus and others. This was a good movie because the plot is exciting, which is Larry Daley alone in the Museum as a security guard trying to run the place with all of these characters from history. It was also hilarious at some moments seeing Ben Stiller in comedic action along with an ancient Mongol warrior and other characters from the past. I would recommend this movie to anyone because it is funny, has meaning and is fun to watch because of the special effects.

Kicking and Screaming

Kicking and Screaming was directed by Jesse Dylan and it stars Will Ferrell (Phil Weston), Robert Duvall (Buck Weston), Mike Ditka as himself, Kate Walsh (Barbara Weston) and others. The movie is mostly about a rivalry between Phil Weston and Phil's competitive father Buck. Buck does not let Phil win when it comes to sports and Phil finds the opportunity to possibly win when a coaching position opens up on the local kid soccer team, which could use some help and is part of a league which Buck coaches on. Some parts of this movie I thought were only slightly funny and other parts were hilarious. The character of Phil Weston is funny a guy who can be kind of egocentric and competitive about coaching but yet does not really seem to know the best ways to coach the team. Mike Ditka plays another funny role because he is an expert coach and tries to help Phil and the soccer team improve their skills. Buck Weston is probably the least funny character because he is all about serious competition. I think that this movie is worth watching because it is many moments of comedy and the story is entertaining because of the personality of the characters in it.
