Eagle Eye

This movie was directed by D.J. Caruso and is an action, mystery, thriller. The movie stars Shia LaBeouf (Jerry Damon Shaw/Ethan W. Shaw), Michelle Monaghan (Rachel Holloman), Rosario Dawson (Zoe Perez) and others. The movie is about two strangers, Jerry and Rachel who meet up by a mysterious phone call from a lady, who it seems knows their every move and is controlling as their story further unfolds. This movie incorporated some drama and a message at the end different then a lot of action movies I have seen. But anyhow it is a very technical, government intelligence type movie. I don't think I can really complain about this movie that much because it seemed to me the director did his part in making a Hollywood film, with interesting effects, action and suspense. I remebering one thing sticking out was that it was a bit phony, perhaps almost being quite science fiction like. But that was okay because things are obviously technical today, although this movie was probably a stretch, which is alright by me because I was just looking for some Hollywood entertainment before buying a ticket. So yeah I think this movie was fun with a fascinating and interesting topic, so it is probably not a bad option for a pick. Oh one last thing this message from Eagle Eye will self destruct in a minute.

Burn After Reading

This movie I am sure could influence others into starting their own movie reviews because I think people will have some unique responses afterwards. It is a comedy, crime movie staring George Clooney (Harry Pfarrer), Frances McDormand (Linda Litzke), Brad Pitt (Chad Feldheimer), John Malkovich (Osbourne Cox) and other good actors and actresses. The movie is about a left over memoir on a disc in a gym of an ex CIA agent and two immoral employees who try to sell it resulting in a whole bunch of new scenarios. There is a great amount of happenings in the story that I think is the general brilliance of the comedy. Everybody as far as I remember from the many characters is somewhat associated in a problematic kind of way due to the farsighted behavior of the two gym employees. It was a humorous movie but a lot different from all out slapstick comedy but still as funny at times I thought. You kind of have to see the whole movie to follow it because there is so much going on. The movie reminded me of a blend of some kind playwright, a demented realty TV show and the board game Clue. But anyhow I think it was not exactly a a typical Hollywood film, but with certainly enough of a story that comes together with the humor making it worth a shot to go and see.

An American Carol

This movie was directed by David Zucker and stars Kevin P. Farley (Michael Malone), Kelsey Grammer (General George S. Patton), John Voight (George Washington) and others. Actually there is a good amount of really famous people in this movie with various parts, often short parts, such as Dennis Hopper, James Woods and more. But anyhow the movie is about Michael Malone a fictional character who is actually supposed to be Michael Moore, who is making a film to abolish the fourth of July as three spirits try to teach him a lesson. This movie was interesting and I think that even with the politics anybody could like this movie because it was funny and in any case it is a patriotic film, which is why I enjoyed it. I am glad that they made a movie about characters like Michael Moore who to me always seem like they are infallible and could be more like misguided. But not to turn this into a political blog, I got some laughs out of it and it made me feel political so why not see this around election time.
