Mission Impossible 3

Mission Impossible 3 was directed by J.J. Abrams and stars Tom Cruise (Ethan Hunt) Phillip Seymour Hoffman (Owen Davian), Ving Rhames (Luther), Billy Crudup (Musgrave), Michelle Monaghan (Julia), Jonathon Rhys Meyers (Declan), Maggie Q (Zen), Laurence Fishburn (Theodore Brassel), Kerry Russel (Lindsey Farris) and others. The movie was of the action, adventure, thriller genres. The plot of the movie is that Ethan Hunt takes on Owen Davian a crazed arms dealer who is willing to bring Ethans girlfriend Julia into the circumstance and is trying to obtain a secret weapon worth more then 800 million dollars. I thought they could have left the part with Lindsey out but it still did not affect the overall plot of the movie. I enjoyed Mission Impossible 3 because I thought the acting was good and because the IMF team goes through some intense action scenes different from the first and second movies. I would say that the third movie was a little less unrealistic then the second and first or I should say a little less impossible. It will be interesting to see what happens in the fourth one if they decide to make that many of the Mission Impossible movies.

Blades of Glory

Blades of Glory was directed by Josh Gordon and Will Speck. This movie stars Will Ferrell (Chazz Michael Michaels), Jon Heder (Jimmy MacElroy), Will Arnet (Stranz Van Waldenberg), Amy Poehler (Fairchild Van Waldenberg), Jenna Fischer (Katie Van Waldenberg) and other actors. Some of the smaller parts consisted of professional ice skaters like Scott Hamilton and Sasha Coen in this movie. The movie is in the comedy and sport genre categories. In the movie two of the most popular ice skaters who are rivals of each other are not allowed to skate in the single division so they become a skating team. Will Ferrell has a funny egotistic role as a sex addict ice skater and MacElroy is just kind of a goofy ice skating character. And of course there are hilarious moments where you see Chazz and MacElroy being a skating team in paired ice skating, which is a sport that can sometimes look romantic among male and female skating pairs. I bet if a professional male skating couple exists someday that this movie would make them more popular somehow. The movie was not boring, was funny because of the scenarios and because most of the lines were humorous so it was easy to laugh seeing this movie.
