The Hobbit

This movie was directed by Peter Jackson and is an action, fantasy movie. This movie stars some big stars like Ian McKellen (Gandalf) and others. The story is about a group of Dwarves and a Hobbit on a exciting adventure up against a lot obstacles, one being a dragon to as matter of fact! Well this is a movie that I was watching and not thinking oh I wish I could be one of those characters on the film there because I would need just a few diapers to say the least to deal with the monstrous dragon in this film and many other unique dangers these guys encounter! I am not usually that crazy about fantasy movies but this film did not really have a moment of boredom in it as the the plot is pretty deep and it really makes your imagination wonder, so I think this movie is above par to many others in it's genre, real decent movie here!

Lincoln

This movie was directed by Steven Spielberg and stars Daniel Day-Lewis (Lincoln), Tommy Lee Jones (Thaddeus Stevens) and others. Did you know that this movie was actually based on a true story and that Ab Lincoln was not actually a vampire hunter! Just kidding but I would like to say I am glad this movie was made to make up for that other silly one that painted the President as a vampire hunter, not sure who came up with that one perhaps, Snooki? Anyhow this movie I thought was pretty awesome! The movie focused mostly on Lincoln's accomplishment of passing the 13th amendment! What I think perhaps what is most great here is that Daniel Day-Lewis does such a compelling job of perhaps being the greatest Lincoln impersonator ever in looks and personality, is my guess about that! The only thing I was thinking about this movie that perhaps could have been different was that they could have focused more on the many other great things Lincoln did like help arrange the transcontinental railroad and so forth; so it was not exactly a biography but what I saw of Lincolns life in this movie I believe was portrayed very well as far as movie making goes. I would listen for this movie title at the next Academy Awards!

The Bourne Legacy

This movie directed by Tony Gilroy stars Jeremy Renner (Aaron Cross),  Scott Glenn (Ezra Kramer) and others. This movie is about a new hero whose life has become based upon the events that occurred in the past 3 films in the series! This song I think could contend with most all other actions movies. I say this because I think the scenes are good and filmed at some really awesome locations for sure! The character is pretty likable to Aaron Cross that is as he is someone who is cool as a cucumber in many ways as you will see in this movie! So I have no worries recommending this one is your an action star, movie, buff sort of person!

Frankenweenie

This movie was directed by Tim Burton and stars the voice of big stars like Martin Short and Catherine O'Hara. The story is about a boy named Victor conducting a pretty far out science experiment to bring his dog back to life only to find he gets more then what he asked for! To make a similar quote to that of Johnny Depp in the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, perhaps this movie is to weird to be great but to strange to be horrible! No all kidding aside, this movie was pretty decent, what I think most people will enjoy about it is the fact that it is created by this sort of far out animation and because the characters are so unique! But I am not sure this movie is gonna be for everybody because it is so eccentric, so hope if you have the time you might consider checking out the trailer below! Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

The Amazing Spiderman

This movie was an action, fantasy, thriller movie that was directed by Marc Webb and stars Andrew Garflield (Peter Parker), Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy) and others. The story is about Spiderman who lost his parents when he was younger and finds a clue as to why that happened, which leads him to go after someone his father once knew! This movie was one that was tangled in a web of mystery for sure this time around! I felt this movie lived up to it's Marvel name and was pretty decent on the whole. I have sort of been wondering though with the Spiderman series when they might show him in a different time frame, perhaps more as an older adult not a much younger person, can't we all agree that would be cool, perhaps acting more like a Bruce Wayne type to right! This was perhaps not my favorite Spiderman movie of them all but it is worth the ticket if you like this genre of movies and I will let you find out more about the mystery of this movie won't touch that part you know, but if you want to know more do check out the trailer below! Thanks for stopping by, happy movie going and blogging to you all!

Dark Shadows

Directed by Tim Burton, which makes sense as this movie has his patent, trademark work written all over it but anyhow the movie was a comedy, fantasy, starring Johnny Depp (Barnabas Collins),  Michelle Pfeiffer (Elizabeth Collins Stoddard) and others. The movie is about a vampire who returns home and finds his ancestry and among them also comes across a friend that is well on the unsavory side of things! Well the good news for me is that I am pretty sure there is one word that will be able to undoubtedly sum up what you will see in this movie and give you an idea of what to expect and you won't be able to say I was way off with this review and that word is: Weird or Weirdy or even Weirdo I guess! But hey weird is not always a bad thing right, I have always said if there were not weird people there would be no normal people and vice a versa so I guess we need weird don't we now! You will probably find wondering who you actually like here as far as the main characters go because like the name implies about the movie they all are a bit on the dark or unsavory side and diamonds in the rough to say the least you know! So this movie was not to bad and I imagine the best way to know if you will like is take the most eccentric charcters of Johnny Depp in the past put some of them together and if that seems interesting go see this very far out movie! This movie was decent but so eccentric you just might want to check out the trailer first to see if it is at all up your alley! beforehand

The Dark Knight Rises

This third movie in the series was again directed by Christopher Nolan and the movie is an action, crime, drama, starring Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne), Morgan Freeman (Lucius Fox) and others. It was to bad about the psychopath who took movies and his twisted mind to far and went into the movie theater in Colorado and shot people, and I just want to say keep those people in your prayers! That being said I still think this movie is okay to see that it is not satanic or anything I just believe that the criminal in Colorado was just surely going to find a way to hurt someone one way or the other! If you still do decide to see this movie despite the drama on the news you will see that this one in the series is about Batman this time fighting against terrorism for a city that has brandished him a enemy essentially! This Batman was pretty decent this time around it seemed to me! I have always liked the newer version of the Batman series. I believe if you liked the past Batman's or any superhero movie you will find there is enough to like here about this movie! So Christopher Nolan once again did a pretty good job although some aspects of this movie were a little more confusing then others, but this one is still pretty good and worthwhile in my opinion! Thanks for stopping by, happy blogging and guess I will see some of you next time they shine the real Batman light out into the moonlight if not on my blog again before that! ;)

Ted

This comedy, fantasy was directed by Set McFarlane the Family Guy director person and the movie stars Mark Wahlberg (John Bennett), Mila Kunis (Lori Collins) and others! This movie is all about a very unique teddy bear of John Bennett's, whom also just so happens gets the opportunity to be brought to life and from there these two form a bonded lifelong friendship! Well I myself am not sure if I would laugh or cry if a teddy bear started talking to me and came to life, whatever the case it would definitely be an emotional trip for me, no doubt about that, I might end up in therapy at some point. Any who this film was a bit on the crass side just to let you know and it is not perhaps the same sort of Teddy Bear that would go to Sesame Street, but the movie was in a way cute at times and scary or dramatic though on the flip-side of that! I thought it could perhaps be a bit more funny but it still was hilarious form time to time and entertaining so the movie is pretty decent, I just think you should check the trailer out first to see if this very unique talking teddy bear is someone you yourself want to spend an hour and a half with or not!

Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D

This movie was directed by Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz and believe it or not the movie is about Katy Perry and stars Katy Perry in case you did not know that! No just teasing you anyhow this was a fun film to see, as it was a lot like watching MTV for a few hours for a whole variety of reasons! It seemed like the movie perhaps could have added more of the details of Katy Perry's life and less showing of her musical acts, but I guess they did not want it to look like a political biography, so perhaps you can have it both ways! Any who the movie was entertaining enough and I will just say you can't go to wrong with this one if you love MTV or Katy Perry or both, I am sure this will be quite the big hit for you!

John Carter

This movie is directed by Andrew Stanton and is a action, adventure, fantasy movie starring Taylor Kitsch (John Carter), Lynn Collins (Dejah Thoris) and others. The story is about a civil war soldier whom is magically transported to mars and finds himself in battle with Star Wars looking characters of a sort! What I liked about the movie was that the characters were amusing like, mostly because of their very atypical appearances! I mean these guys were funny looking, like well beyond Alfred E. Newman funny looking to so that was entertaining for sure you know! It was a pretty typical action movie, but I think the strength of it was that it was highly creative and definitely came from someones imagination I would say! I am not so sure how exactly I felt about the main character since it seemed like he was trying to do good on another planet and yet on Earth he was fighting with the confederacy! But anyhow overall this movie was pretty decent not bad as there was always some level of excitement int it occurring, so I think you should have a look at the trailer below if this film peaks your interest! Happy movie going until next time! Trailer-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Rf55GTEZ_E

21 Jumpstreet

This comedy, action movie, directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller stars Jonah Hill (Schmidt), Channing Tatum (Jenko) and others! The story is about a group of cops that are trying to get Starsky and Hutch status and are actually sent back to high school to help bust up a drug ring! This movie was highly racy so your not going to want to bring little ones to it! However I have to say it was incredibly hilarious at times and many times really! It made me want to go back to high school and take care of some of the punks! Actually I probably have fallen out of style since then, so perhaps wouldn't do that, cause I would not know whether to one strap it or two strap it you will know what I mean once you see the movie! So yeah although the movie was highly racy, perhaps something like animal house but a bit more so racy in some ways the fact that this movie seemed to have so many LOL moments, I got to recommend it as it was hilarious often! Really freaking funny and here is the trailer, well thanks for stopping by to hear me blabber, rant again or whatever you want to call it! :) Trailer-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5k0mo_oJfn4

The Lorax

This animation, family, fantasy film is directed by Chris Renaud, Kyle Balda and stars the voice of Danny Devito, Ed Helms and other big stars! The story is about a boy looking for a tree in a city that does not have any and he finds himself on a grand journey to save the trees and end corruption in his city of Thneed-Ville. Wow I would have love to got inside Dr. Seuss brain who knows what else must have been in there, we probably would not even somehow need antidepressant medications or probably even crazy narcotics in this society, if that guy was still around. Anyhow I like many things about this movie one is that it has a very positive green, Earthy message. I found the characters to be dynamically fascinating in their own way! So yeah go see this one and of course don't hire a babysitter that night the kids will like this one I just have a little feeling about that! Trailer-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bHdzTUNw-4&ob=av3e
