Superman Returns

Superman Returns was directed by Bryan Singer and this movie was of the action, sci fi, fantasy and adventure genre. The movie starred Kate Bosworth (Lois Lane), Kevin Spacey (Lex Luthor), Brandon Routh (Clark Kent/Superman), James Marsden (Richard White), Parker Posey (Kitty Kowalski) and other good actors. Brandon Routh is a relatively new actor, but I believe I heard the director say on TV he wanted to cast someone new for the Superman role to make the character seem even more believable somehow. I have never really followed the Superman movies of the past so I was glad I saw this movie. I thought the movie had good special effects, which made for some extreme and intense scenes that occur a lot in the movie. I never knew that Superman was actually suppose to come from the planet Krypton, which you find out in the beginning of the movie, which I had thought was interesting. I was not really sure if I was going to like this movie because I was not familiar with the past Superman movies, but it turned out that I did, because the movie had enough action in it and the plot had kept my attention throughout the movie. So I think this movie is worthwhile to see because Superman is such a famous superhero and because the movie is filled with a meaningful story.
